This policy explains what personal data Sawasdee Visas Co., Ltd. ("we", "us") collects through this website and our chat services, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We follow the Thai Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

• Messages you send us — through the AI chat widget on this site, Live Chat, Line, WhatsApp or Messenger. This includes anything you choose to tell us, such as your nationality and visa situation.
• Contact details you provide — name, email address, phone or messaging ID when you ask for a quote or use our services.
• Technical data — cookies and similar technologies used by our live-chat provider (Chatwoot) to operate the chat, such as session identifiers and your approximate location for routing.
• Service data — for clients: passport details and documents needed to file visa and immigration applications. We only process these to perform the service you asked for.

• To answer your questions and provide quotes — based on your request (contract / pre-contractual steps)
• To provide visa and immigration services you engage us for — contract performance
• To run and improve our website and chat — legitimate interest
• To comply with legal obligations (Thai immigration rules, tax and accounting law)

Cookies and chat

Our live chat tool (Chatwoot, self-hosted at chat.highthai.online) uses cookies and local storage so conversations work and so we can remember your consent choice. We only load the chat tool after you accept cookies through the banner on this site. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Who we share data with

• Our team — the people handling your visa case
• Service providers — our web hosting and chat infrastructure (hosted in the EU/Thailand as applicable)
• Authorities — Thai Immigration and government bodies, only as required to file your applications

We never sell your personal data. We never share it for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

Chat and inquiry data: up to 24 months. Client case files: for the duration of our engagement plus the retention period required by Thai law for accounting and immigration records. We delete data when it no longer serves these purposes.

Your rights

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Receive your data in a portable format, where applicable
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls on our systems, and restrict internal access to client data to staff who need it for your case. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we apply reasonable technical and organisational measures.

We update this policy as our services or the law change. The "last updated" date above shows the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
